5 Best Places to Celebrate Pi Day in Central Ohio

March 14th is Pi Day. Another fun fact about this day is it’s Albert Einstein’s birthday! Math enthusiasts know all about it, but the rest of us just use it as an excuse to eat lots of delicious pie.

Since we have an excuse to eat pie (not like you really need one), we compiled a list of the 5 best places to celebrate Pi Day in Central Ohio.

The Pearl (641 N. High St. Columbus, Oh 43215)Besides offering a delicious brunch and dinner menu, The Pearl whips up fresh pies daily. Our recommendation would be the brown sugar or banana cream pie.

Dough Mama (3335 N. High St. Columbus, Oh 43202) When you search for “Best Pie in Columbus,” Dough Mama is ALWAYS at the top of the list. Their pies are made from scratch daily and locally sourced. The great thing about this place is you can have a delicious pot pie for lunch or dinner, and wash it down with more pie! Our recommendation is pecan or the honey apple pie.

Just Pies (Clintonville/Worthington, Gahanna, Westerville)Stop in for one of their award-winning pies. You can grab a slice or walk out with an entire pie, depending on your mood. There are so many options we couldn’t pick our favorite. One really great thing about this place is if you have a diabetic or someone watching their sugar in your life, they offer no-sugar-added pies.

Der Dutchman (445 S Jefferson Ave, Plain City, OH 43064) –  Known for their Amish-style cooking, they offer over 25 different made-from-scratch pies. If you’re not a fan of traditional style pie, you’re in luck, because they also offer delicious chocolate and pumpkin whoopie pies. They also offer no-sugar-added pies as well.

Schneider’s Bakery (6 South St. Westerville, OH) Schneider’s has delivered the highest quality of products for over 61 years. You most likely hear people bragging about their doughnuts but their pies are just as impressive. They offer a variety of your favorite classic flavors all year around.

By now, you should be drooling thinking about all these delicious pies! And if you’re not, then please leave a comment and let me know which go-to pie place I missed!
