Hidden Picture

Hidden-Picture

3D optical illusion wall art can be frustrating and confusing. Supposedly there is a hidden picture inside of it, but to you, it looks like a muddled mess of colors and geometrical shapes.

You have to trust that the artist didn’t lie to you and that he really did hide something extra in the picture for you to discover.  When you spend time looking deeply at it, and then take a step back and look at it from another angle – then the hidden picture starts to emerge.  Then all of a sudden *BAM* it’s there!  You see it, plain as day, and you wonder, “how in the world did I ever miss that!”

Isn’t it wild how Jesus does that when you make Him the Lord of your life?

Before knowing Christ, nothing about Christianity made sense. Maybe you thought religion was a crutch for weak-minded people, or that the Bible was just an over-glorified history book, or that Christian lingo made no sense and fanatics talked weird.  That is until you finally bowed your knee to Him and gave your life into His loving hands.  It was then that *BAM* you were awakened to the truth of His love for you, the good plan He has for your life, and the strength found in the very words that used to confuse you to no end.

I’m convinced that these types of experiences continue on throughout the rest of our lives in our walk with God.  Life can get confusing and seem like an overwhelming mess sometimes. And it’s at these times when you don’t see the picture of what God is doing behind the scenes that you tend to ask, “WHY God, Why???”

You wonder if He really does care or if He is even real.  However, if you don’t give up and continue to seek His heart, and truly believe that He and His plans are good and that He is able to turn all things to work for good in your life, you will be able to find peace and embrace what is happening.

When you step back from the jumbled mess of feelings and disappointments and allow yourself to trust the “Artist” and believe that He has hidden a message deep within the 3D picture of your life; it is then that you can start to see the truth emerge: that God loves you, He has always loved you, and He walks with you through every single trial.  That He is always willing to guide you and direct you through the murky waters, and to help you find a foundation of strength in Him.  Remember, He is a BIG God, and He can handle whatever you throw at Him – questions, anger, lack of faith, etc.

So, when you start to look at things from the “Artist’s perspective,” it is then that you start to see the truth and the plan He has for you, and that He loves you, infinitely, intimately, and completely.  –Daniel 2:28  “There is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries.”

-Remember – YOU are LOVED!
