Struggling today with my faith. Going on 4 years of headaches & facial pain EVERY DAY...varies in intensity; some days migraine status, some days just an annoying headache. And this is in addition to fibromyalgia daily pain. Been to countless doctors, tests done, medicines tried. The latest MRI & MRA showed nothing wrong. Nothing helps. I know there are people out there that have it worse off, but that doesn't make my pain any less. Why doesn't God answer my prayers & that of my friends & pastors? Why doesn't He take away the pain? I hope & pray that my faith can & will stay strong, but I'm getting weak. I'm becoming cynical; less convinced of a God that cares & wants my best. My friends give me the typical answers... God has His reasons, we don't always understand, His timing is not our timing, etc. Believe me. I know these things. I'm going on 51 years as a Christian. But those platitudes do nothing for me right now.

Several weeks ago I asked for prayers for Eli, the 2-year-old hospitalized with MRSA. He is now home and still recovering, but out of the grave danger he was in. Thanks for your prayers. Hallelujah!

I’m asking for God to teach myself and my family to learn how to live without my husband and their father, grandpa and great grandpa. Guide us protect us because the enemy tries to attack us when we are vulnerable. But Gods says his grace is sufficient for us In our weakness he is strong. Thank you for praying! The river is truly a blessing to my life!!!
