There’s No Time To Waste

There’s no time to waste. Kids are growing up. Time is passing. Things are changing. It’s all happening so quickly. There’s a temptation to think that we will just do things tomorrow, but here’s a small piece of advice to all those parents out there who have a choice: Make the most of the time you’ve been given. Read below to see what I mean, and if this resonates with you, write your thoughts in the comments section below.

It feels like death, but it’s not.

It’s regret.

Back then this day was years ahead.

It always seemed we’d have enough time.

But, time can be deceptive: seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years.

The one before always tricks you into thinking there’s a lifetime left.

Time to play whiffle ball, beanie babies, video games or kick the soccer ball.

But, time turns innocent minutes into grown-up years.

Time always wins.

Always.

Time always moves forward.

It never looks back.

But, all Memories can ease the pain of time’s aggressiveness.

The tears from pain of a scraped knee or the constant struggle of adulthood approaching, time keeps moving steadily.

Through the joys of learning to walk or using a spoon, to all of the accomplishments through time, only memories survive.

You can learn from time.

It never stops and should never surprise.

Don’t waste the time you’ve been given.

Regret often disguises itself as death.

Spread your wings and fly.

It’s your time.

And just when you think you’ll have enough time, those fleeting seconds rush into years and you’ll have to decide.

Which comes first, regret or death?
