Top Toys for 2018

toys

Whether it’s a Cabbage Patch Kid or a Hatchimal – parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles try to figure out every year what the hot toy is and just how to get it (hopefully without paying an arm and a leg for it). Thankfully, retailers over the years have helped parents out a little by coming up with holiday toy lists ahead of time so we can track them!

What’s on the “hot list” for 2018? Of course there are hundreds of toys and games to choose from, but I’ve come up with a few to keep an eye on.

Untamed Raptor

In mid October, we first saw buzz on the Untamed Raptor – the dino relation to Fingerlings that were the hot toy last year. Now these finger-gripping dino’s that retail at $14.99 have already seen some price jumps, so if it’s on your kiddos list, snag one while you can.

Little Live Wrapples

Like the Untamed Raptor, the Little Live Wrapples (retail at $14.99) have become quite a hot little critter, with some color options jumping to over $25. And the rare “Flutta” is selling at $55 on Amazon. WOW! I’d say that’s another one to grab now if you see it.

Barbie DreamHouse

It’s fun to see that some items always make the hot list, for instance the Barbie DreamHouse. I mean, what girl hasn’t had that on her Christmas list? Each year the DreamHouse model is a little different. This year, there’s a working elevator and a pool with slide.

LEGO’s

Another classic; LEGOs are always great for under the tree. This year, Harry Potter Hogwarts Great Hall and the LEGO Friends Heartlake City Resort top the list for brick-masters.

Want to learn more about Pikmi Pops, Mibro the interactive robot, and Super Mario at it again? Then check out my full list of the 18 Top Toys for the Holidays 2018. I like to watch Amazon for pricing and their daily deals. But you can also check out the Black Friday ad scans and Holiday Toy Books that are already published for sale prices as well.
