Great Recipes to Make With Your Kids

Cooking with kids can be more of a task than fun, especially if your weeknights are busy and time is a factor.

I can attest to shrugging off help from my daughter when she asks – and then feeling guilty afterwards because she actually shows interest in being involved. So I’ve decided to put together some recipes that she can make while I play the role as her assistant.

These recipes are easy and fun snacks for after school or even for a family movie night. Enjoy time with your littles while giving them a sense of accomplishment while teaching them basic cooking skills.

A great way to add veggies into the kids meal! Just sneak it under the cheese when the kids aren’t looking.

French Bread Pizza

Every gets their own.

Cheese Puffs

Movie night snack anyone?

Homemade Honey Bread

Great for lunchbox sandwiches.

No Bake Energy Bites

The possibilities are endless!

Peanut Butter Honey Puffed Rice Treats

For a healthy sweet tooth cravin’.

Chocolate Covered Banana Pops

This recipe had me at chocolate covered…

Frozen Peanut Butter and Jelly Pops

Skip the frozen section at the grocery!

The kids will definitely get satisfaction from making their very own treat. And as parents, we can rest assured our children are eating simple, healthier snacks.
