Mason Jar Ice Cream

Ice cream is the perfect treat on a hot summer day. Check out this super easy and tasty recipe that you and the kiddos can make together this summer!

Mason Jar Ice Cream

What you’ll need:

1 cup heavy cream

1 ½ tbsp. sugar

½ tsp. pure vanilla extract

1 pinch of salt

Directions

  1. Grab your mason jar and pour the cream, sugar, vanilla, and salt into it and then tightly secure the lid.
  2. Shake the mason jar for about 4-5 minutes. The cream should thicken and double in size. Dip a wooden spoon in the jar, and if it easily coats the back of it you’re good to go.
  3. Place the mason jar in the freezer for 3 hours or until it’s hard. Scoop out the ice cream, add your favorite toppings, serve – and enjoy!

Let us know how yours turns out – or leave a comment with your favorite homemade summer treat.

Thanks to Delish for the inspiration.
