Oil changes and tune-ups are a normal part of owning a car. Annual preventive maintenance checks are a good practice for heating and cooling systems in our homes. Annual doctor check-ups are part of physical health and wellness. We go to the dentist twice a year for cleanings to prevent dental problems. Yet, when it comes to one of the most important relationships we have here on earth, we often don’t take time to invest in its health and wellness. So, why not do the same for your marriage?
There are certain things a married couple can do individually and together that help to maintain the health of their marriage. Marriage Tune-ups are one of those things. A Marriage Tune-up is a short session designed to help keep marriages healthy. Each session is focused on a topic that is important to the marriage relationship. Doug and Julaine Bierl, co-founders of Reclaiming Wholeness, will be facilitating Monthly Marriage Tune-ups.
The Monthly Marriage Tune-ups will be held at the River studio from 7:00 to 8:00 pm the third Thursday of each month. Registration is required so that we have enough materials for all attending. A nominal fee of $10 per couple will be charged to cover the cost of handouts and other supplies. Doors open at 6:45pm and session starts promptly at 7:00pm.
